Through Community, Our Youth Rise
Nevada's youth homelessness rates are among the highest in the nation, with 12% of the national homeless youth population residing with the state. In Clark County alone, 21% of the homeless population consists of unaccompanied youth, 92% of whom lack shelter and are forced to sleep outdoors or in unsafe conditions.
These statistics underscore the critical need for our program. Nationwide, approximately 23,000 children age out of the foster care system annually, with 20% becoming homeless immediately after turning 18. Only 50% of these youth will have gainful employment by age 24, and less than 3% earn a college degree.
Despite available programs such as Educational and Training Vouchers (ETVs) and extended Medicaid coverage, many of these youth face homelessness, unemployment, mental health issues, substance abuse, early pregnancy, and lack of support. Moreover, homeless youth face a significant risk of becoming victims of sex trafficking.
Their vulnerability, isolation, urgent survival needs, lack of awareness, substance abuse issues, and mental health challenges make them PRIME targets for traffickers who prey on them, offering false promises of safety, shelter, or money, leading to further victimization.

Your tax exempt donation can help us provide a better future for the youth in our community. We welcome all levels of support, from one-time donations to monthly contributions.

We welcome volunteers to help us with our fundraising events and other activities. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact us for more information.

Our mission is to empower young women aging out of foster care by providing safe housing, life skills training, mental health support, and educational opportunities. We understand that many of these young women come from adverse backgrounds, and we are committed to helping them heal, grow, and build self-sufficient futures. Through personalized guidance and community support, we ensure that every young woman in our program has the tools to thrive and achieve lasting stability.
